Imici, which lets you simultaniously and transparently talk to people on ICQ, AOL, MSN, Yahoo and Imici chat networks. You need have (free) accounts with any of the above to use their services.
Trend Micro's Java-based Anti-virus scanner page. It is out of Beta, so its good to go. Whats so nice about it is that it is free, and you don't have to download some big chuncky program (it resides primarily on the server, not on your computer...did I mention that it is free?) Ok, maybe you have to download a little the first time you go there, quit whining...Here's the dorky graphic they want me to use to link to their site:

***Even more recent update : Well, until the terrorist act, Bush and his cronies were right on target for raping the environment and squandering our hard earned money on pet projects like the missile defence system...we all see how much good it would do to spend billions and billions of dollars to prevent multi-million dollar long range missiles when anyone can board a plane for a couple bucks...lets hope that they aren't currently running their schemes under the radar while they do the right thing out in the open***
