Ever since it happened, I've thought about you.
You went through so much that night.
Wasn't there anything they could do?
I have so many questions but they don't come out right.
It seems so surreal to think of you in the past.
You have no more tomorrows.
Somehow I just have to make the memories last.
I can get through all of this pain and sorrow.
I had a dream about you awhile ago.
You were there so of course you knew.
You answered the question I longed to know.
I asked you if you had heard me talking to you.
You opened up your mouth and said yes.
Warm, wet tears poured from my eyes.
There was so much pain inside; more not less.
Life is something to deal with even though everyone dies.
I got the answer I needed.
I actually felt a little more safe.
Dreams are something everyone should heed.
Each has it's own meaning.
Now I realize you are there for me.
