Dr Goodyear is a 1975 Graduate of Temple University School of Medicine. He did his Surgical training at Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington,Pennsylvania
, completeing his Chief Residency training in 1980. After completing his residency in 1980, he came to Lansdale, Pennsylvania to begin his practice of General Surgery.
He quickly developed an interest in the repair of both primary and recurrent, complex hernias of the abdominal wall, and has specialized in this field for over 15 years.
Dr. Goodyear is:

- A Member of the American Hernia Society.
