A number of treks  begin from Nathiagali and range out in every direction. Each of the routes passes through lush green pine forest. At every turn the trekker is presented with a new beautiful scene of nature with surprisees and attractions provided by flora & funa colourful birds, insects, animals and plants. A few of the main treks are:


                    *   Mushkpuri Trek
                    *   Meranjani Trek
                    *   Ayubia National Park
                    *   Dugri Trek

                    *   Dungagli Pipe-line Trek

Mushkpuri Trek: 
    This is a three hours safe hill trek to Mukshpuri Top and is the second highest Hill of Galyat at 9452 feet/3150 metres above sea level approx. This trek start starts from the Pines Hotel in Nathigali spiralling upwards through the beautiful green Pine Forest displaying natural beauty. Hikers on their way to Mushkpuri top are presented with colourful fairy fragmented carpet of flowers in the green Meadwos of Mushkpuri.(especially at the end of the rainy season). From here one trek descends to the other side towards Dungagali giving you the bird eye view of Ayubia National Park down below, this trek is not advisable for for people with fear of height the park starts from Dungagali and extend towards the river Jehlum. The trek up to Mushkpuri Top can also be started from Dungagali. It's a good trek for the famalies to go out and enjoy the beautiful Natural Pine Forest of Galyat. There is a very small water spring at the top in a small nullah cutting

  Meranjani Trek:
                        Meranjani is the highest hill of Galyat at 9754 feet above sea level approx. Two treks to the Meranjani Hill Top starts from the same point in Nathiagali near down and the below famous Governer House, one of the beautiful English Rule establishments in Galyat. One trek takes you in semi-circle around Mreanajani slowly ascending towards the top through a hill village Namlimera, displaying the style of a Hill Village Culture, this is a very easy and safe trek for famalies venturing  to the top, however it takes a little longer time. The second takes you spirally up through the low ascending hills in the forest towards the top. This trek is little hard as you gain height at every step and almost at the angle of 60 to 65 degrees near the top as you start the last stretch of the trek. This trek is advisable for young ones above 12 years of age and adults upto 45 years with sound health. There is no water avalible on this trek, one must take water as you surely would need it.

Ayubia National Park:
    This 2 miles long trek is the most intresting and straight walk in the Pine Hills of Galyat passing right through the heart of Ayubiaa National Park.This park starts from Dungagali and extend towards river Jehlum across Ayubia and Khanaspur boundries with numer of small villages located here and there as villages were there before the official establishment of the National Park. This park host a large number of beautiful birds, planst, insects and a few four leged animal species. People who are intrested in bird watching  in Galyat must vist this park and if they are very lucky they can have the gimps of the hill cats. Brown Monkeys are located easilky. The most common seen are the Yellow Beaked Magpie, Red Blood and Yellow Body Finches, White Chiek or Crested Grey Finch and many other birds. A family starts walking from Dungagali reaches Ayubia in around 2:30 hours, most of the famalies use this route whenever going toAyubia from Nathiagali (walking).

Dugri Trek:
    Dugri is one of the most dense pine forest reserve in Galyat and is know by the name (Home of  Leapords) as the place is quite isolated from the populated  road access areas in Galyat.The trekkes are offered two choices here either they can trek to Dugri rest house by the longer trek through Namlimera around the Meranjani hill or can take the shorter  trek (tough one) to Meranjani Hill top and continue trekking through the forest towards Dugri rest house which could be seen clearly from Meranajani Top but inactual it takes four hours of good walking small trek From Thandiani to reach Dugri rest house trekking duration takes two day and one night at Berangali.From Nathiagali to reach Dugri rest house the treking takes one full day via Meranjani trek staring from Governer House Nathagali. This trek is advisable for pople with some good exprience of treking in any pine forest with camping before. Water is again advise to be carried along.
