If I can find a site, such as yahoo, that is free and can support our league without changing the rules and how points are scored then we may move over to that site. I'll keep you posted.
At the end of the regular season the last place team pays an extra 10 and the second to last an extra 5.
New for 2003
League Setup
We will vote on whether to split the league into 3 divisions of 4 with playoff spots going to the division champs and the next 3 best teams. Then the playoffs will be seaded according to how you finished with the top 2 division champs getting byes and the third division champ playing the worst of the three wild cards. Each round will be re-seaded allowing the division champ with the best record to play the team with the worst. The other option is to leave the league the way it is now.
Standings Tiebreaker
We will be using the standings tiebreakers.
NFL TIEBREAKERS
We don't have a strength of schedule or victory, so after the common games, insert total points.
Transaction Deadline
-The TRADE deadline will be the same. Kickoff of the first game for game 7 is the deadline to trade players with another team.
-The FREE AGENT PICKUP deadline is kickoff of the last RFL regular season game(WEEK 13).
Injured Reserve Moves
-Will remain the same, you goto the top of the list for picking up a free agent the week your player goes on the DL. IR moves can be made into the RFL playoffs, but the player must go on the official NFL IR list after kickoff of WEEK 13 games or he is not eligible for an IR move.
Playoff tiebreaker
Use to be determined by a second kicker but it will now if there is a tie in a playoff game the winner will be determined by the following criteria.
1.Total Yardage
2.Total TD's
3.Seeding, highest seed advances
Drafting
-From this year forward we will no longer vote on number of players to keep. You may keep up to 2 players from your final roster from the prior season.
-We will continue to use the "snake" draft, where if you draft last in round one you will then draft first in round 2.
-If you keep less than 2 players you will be placed at the end of the third round. If more than 2 teams keep less than 2 players you will be placed at the end of the third round based on the following: 1)Number of keepers, a team that keeps 1 player will draft before teams that keep no players. 2)Last years standings.
If all 12 teams return and keep 2 players then the draft order is as follows for round 1. Reverse order for round 2 and so on.

Draft order is determined on last years standing, last years standings tiebreaker and how teams finished in the playoffs last season.
