Ancient and Honorable Order of Turtles

Come and join in the fun! Join a club that has no meaning other than over imbibing and having a good time. A club founded in WWII by a bunch of fighter pilots cruising over Nazi Germany's Third Reich. They were looking for a fun group that is not too serious or formal. And good drinkers!

The club is not gender specific any more. We like to get together once a year for a "Turtle Reunion" to have some fun and enjoy the fellowship.

To gain admission into the club all you have to do is pass a simple little test. Answer four questions correctly and you're done. Of course there are penalties for wrong answers! It works like this.... A candidate is asked what their drink of choice is. Then the Turtles doing the initiation buy or procure the candidate his/her four drinks. The candidate is then asked four questions one at a time. The answers to these questions are never dirty or vulgar. If a candidate answers the question incorrectly they must drink one of their drinks of choice. All of it. If they get it correct, the rest of the Turtles have to drink. After this is over, all the Turtles get together to discuss whether the new initiate should be admitted in the Ancient Order. If he/she is admitted they will be giver the secret phrase/password, handshake, and sign of one who has the knowledge of the Ancient and Honorable Turtles!!

The degree or rank structure is as follows:
1) Candidate- a poor, ignorant soul seekingto improve themselves through enlightenment in Turtledom
2) Turtle- any Brother or Sister initiated into the Order through the interrogation with the Four Sublime Questions
3) Snapping Turtle- a Brother or Sister who has initiated at least 25 new Turtles into the Order
4) Grand Snapping Turtle- a Brother or Sister who has initiated at least 50 new Turtles into the Order
5) Imperial Turtle- a Brother or Sister who has initiated at least 100 new Turtles into the Order
6) Past Imperial Turtle- a Brother or Sister who has initiated at least 150 new Turtles into the Order
