SHAFT action
Now I have got to say I have never seen the original Shaft but if it's as good as this one then I'm a Shaft fan all the way. Samuel L Jackson does a great performance in this movie and he makes Shaft look great. He makes Shaft without the afro and he looks good. The movie is great and well worth seeing. It also stars Vanessa Williams which you don't see much of and Busta Rhymes which looks to me he may have a acting career on his hands. He was great in this movie. And Jeffrey Wright who plays Peoples Henandez blew me away. A great cast and great story line makes Shaft one bad mother...(Shut your mouth)

THE CELL horror
My hometown finally brought in The Cell and me being a big Jennifer Lopez fan I had to see it (I own all her movies). Now I went in thinking this movie is gonna make me jump. When I checked out the official site on this they made it out to be a horror that would make you throw-up and gag. Well sorry to say I didn't. I love Jennifer Lopez and I think she did great in the movie and there where scenes that made me think "Wow so this is the mind of a killer." Really the only scene that made me jump wasn't even in the mind of the killer it was in the mind of the boy. OK OK, so what's this movie all about. Jennifer Lopez plays a shrink who is working with a company to wake a boy that is in a coma. She does this by going into the mind of the child and try to take him out of the coma. But while this is going on a killer is killing off women by drowning them and making them up to look like dolls. Once they find the killer they have a problem of finding the women that is his victim. She only has 40 mins till the tank is full of water and she is dead. That's where Lopez comes in. They want her to go in his mind and try to find out exactly where the woman is. Now this movie is well thought up but it wasn't scary which upset me. It's worth seeing but it's not a spectacular breakthrough.

COYOTE UGLY drama
Coyote Ugly is here and men are flocking to see it. I must say, this movie does have a some beautiful women in it but it also has a great story of a girl trying to make it big. It's about a bar called Coyote Ugly that 4 women run. They bring in a newcomer who dreams of becoming a star. Now don't worry ladies, you also can enjoy this movie for the story line (and there are a few good looking men also). It's worth your money to see this. At least in my opinion.

NUTTY PROFESSOR II : THE KLUMPS comedy
Sherman Klump is back and his family is with him. In this Eddie Murphy deals with several characters and events. Sherman Klump has made a fountain of youth but he has other problems to deal with by the name of Buddy Love. He also has fallen for a fellow teacher by the name of Denise Gaines (Played by Janet Jackson). The movie is funny for all ages. Granny Klump really stills the show. Don't miss this movie.

SCARY MOVIE comedy
Scary Movie is a spoof about several horror movies. The story line is much like Scream but has pieces of other movies like I Know What You Did Last Summer, Sixth Sense, Blair Witch Project, Matrix and even American Pie and Titanic. The movie is funny but is very crude humor. Just think of the movie as Animal House meets Scream. This movie is really for the younger adults.

X-MEN Action
Based off the popular comic book. X-Men is about a group of mutants who protect those who would rather destroy them. Mutants are humans who have evolved a little quicker then others. Then X-Men serve to protect humans and mutants. But another group called The Brotherhood of Mutants wish to destroy those who wish to destroy them, humans. Instead Magneto wishes to make humans into what they fear, mutants. Now the X-men must protect the human race from magneto and his brotherhood of mutants.
