I find myself walking and smiling
alone on a deserted dirt road.
This must be what it is to be in love,
a heart so full of happiness and joy
even though your not here at this moment.
I feel you beside me, walking
each step in stride, holding my hand
and softly smiling at me.
No words, need be spoken along
the journey as my heart knows
that all wonderful and beautiful things
can not be seen or touched only felt.
These feelings of mine are stronger
than the wildest winds.  And made even stronger
by the many miles we are apart.
