Indian Holocaust

The holocaust of the Hindus started in the year 715 C.E. with the Arab Muslim invasion of Sindh and continued for more than 1100 years, i.e. for more than a millennium, till the brutal Muslims were effectively overpowered by the Marathas. And then this systematic elimination of Hindus restrted with the partition of Indian subcontinent in 1947 and in recent times can be felt in the form of wiping off, of Kashmiri Pandits.

Most of the facts about one of the biggest holocaust have never been collected and/or verified. But few organisations and individuals have been working to collect and present these facts to the modern world to ensure that such cruelity never happens again. Here are the links I could get:

Francois Gautier, born in Paris in 1950, is a French journalist and writer, who is the political correspondent in India and South Asia for "Le Figaro", France's largest circulation newspaper. In his book India's Self Denial he writes :

Indeed, the Muslim policy vis a vis India seems to have been a conscious and systematic destruction of everything that was beautiful, holy, refined. Entire cities were burnt down and their populations massacred. Each successive campaign brought hundreds of thousands of victims and similar numbers were deported as slaves. Every new invader often made literally his hill of Hindu skulls. Thus the conquest of Afghanistan in the year 1000, was followed by the annihilation of the entire Hindu population there; indeed, the region is still called Hindu Kush, 'Hindu slaughter'. The Bahmani sultans in central India, made it a rule to kill 100.000 Hindus a year. In 1399, Teimur killed 100.000 Hindus in a single day, and many more on other occasions.

In 1971 about 2.5 million Hindus in East Pakistan were slaughtered.
