Back To The Home Page

Wicca is a positive, nature religion with two main deities worshipped and honored: The Goddess and the Hornded God. Wicca is a nature-based religion, preaching love and harmony with respect for all the life forms. Different Wiccan tradition use different names for the God and Goddess, many using more than one.

Wicca often includes practices of various forms of white magic, also rites honoring the phases of the moon and the Eight Sabbats.

Wicca is considered by some to be a monistic and pantheistic religion. Wicca is part of the modern Pagan resurgence, or neo-Pagan movement.
The Wiccan religion is made up of various traditions such as Alexandrian,Gardnerian,Dianic,Tanic,Georgian, ethnic Traditionalist, etc. The Wiccan Rede is a simple and benevolent moral code: AN IT HARM NONE, DO WHAT THOU WILT.In other words, be free to do what you want, providing it brings no harm to others, including yourself.
The Threefold Law(Law of Three) is a karmic law of triple retribution which applies when you do something bad or good. For example, if you use white magic (positive energy)to do something good for someone else, three times that good will come back to you. If you use black magic(or negative energy)to bring harm to others, the bad witll return to you threefold in the same lifetime.
Some Wiccans work together in small groups ,called covens. The coven is lead by a High Priestess and/or High Priest and gathers together to prefrom rituals at Sabbats and phases of the moon. Wiccans can also work alone and they are called solitary Witches.
