Both teams pounded the ball for the first 3 innings and racked up a combined 15 runs. But once the pitching machine was removed, the hurlers took over and did not allow another run the rest of the game. For the Phillies, Philip Caruso, Jack Bateman and Patrick Logan turned in outstanding pitching performances. The Cards in turn had strong performances from Nick Corritore, Jack Edwards and Tucker Kinne.

 

Offensively, the Phillies were led by Philip Caruso 3 for 3, Jack Bateman 2 for 4 and Daniel Morgans 2 for 3. For the Cardinals, Tucker Kinne went 3 for 3, Nick Corritore 2 for 3, Jack Edwards 2 for 3 and Evan Golato 2 for 3.
