ML Playoff Game 8

Campbell's Boathouse Restaurant   7
Carman Insurance   6

Media, Pa. - Campbell's Boathouse advanced to Saturday's Championship game with a dramatic walk off win over Carman. The Boathouse boys would need to twice come from behind in order to advance.

Campbell's opened up the scoring in the bottom of the 1st with a run scored by starting pitcher Bryan Paz on an overthrow on the base paths. Carman rallied quickly and saw hits and runs scored in the 3rd by Nate Furman and Danny McLaughlin.

Campbell's took the blow and counter punched, first with a solo HR in the 3rd by Jake Fisher, then back to back doubles in the 4th by Evan Fooks and Andrew Sposato, which scored another.
Fisher would score again in the 5th on a passed ball, to knot the game once again, as the stage was set for a dramatic finish.

Carman looked to play spoilers, as they rallied in the top of the 6th, when Nick Martini and Keith Stubblebine came around to score.

Campbell's needed a rally of their own, or they'd drop into the losers bracket. Joe Adcock worked a walk and moved up on a one out single by Fooks. Up stepped Sposato, who looked to redeem himself of some earlier miscues in the field. Sposato wouldn't wait long, as he drove the 1st pitch he saw over the fence in left center to send the Campbell's faithful into a deafening roar, as they cheered his walk-off 3 run BOMB!

Campbell's awaits in the Championship for the winner of Carman V Baker in the loser bracket final.
