ML Game 23

Campbell's Boathouse Restaurant   18
Plush Mills   6

Media, PA (MLL)  Campbell's Boathouse bats came alive and beat Plush Mills in 5 innings, 18-6. Campbell's was led by Andrew 'Hot Wheels' Sposato's 5 for 5 night. Sposato broke out this evening with a single and 3 doubles to go along with his first ever MLL Home Run, a 4th inning opposite field blast over the power alley in left center field. Sposato's Home Run was not alone, as Jake Fisher (3 for 4) went yard with his 4th career shot, and his first of the season. Catcher Aiden Carroll joined the power surge too, with his first career Dinger, a no-doubt line drive in the Home 5th. Vince Caruso chipped in with the Campbell's attack, going 3 for 3 and scoring 3 runs from the dangerous 9 hole in the Boathouse line-up.

Before Campbell's had a chance to wake their bats, Plush Mills looked poised for the win in the top of the opening frame, as Tommy Bradley singled, then scored to land the opening uppercut of the bout. Bradley would go on to backstop the Plush Mills pitchers with an outstanding game behind the dish. Offensively, Plush Mills Bradley was helped by Tommy Carroll with 2 hits of his own. All of it wouldn't prove to be enough, as the Campbell's attack seemed relentless - scoring in each inning of the contest.

Campbell's Boathouse ran their record up to 6 wins against a single defeat, as the loss drops Plush Mills to 3 - 5.
