ML Game 7

Campbell's Boathouse Restaurant   10
Patriot Construction   8

A shorthanded Campbell's squad went to battle with Patriot in a nail-biter of a game here early in the season. The Campbell's boys extended their Season opening win streak to 3 games, beating Patriot 10-8. Bryan 'Paz' got the start for Campbell's and once again led his team with the bat. Paz hit his 1st Homerun of the season on a 1-0 fastball, and added 3 more hits to go 4 for 4. Paz didn't do it alone, as Campbell's saw base hits from every player in their lineup. Tommy 'Hitman' Logan added a double and a single to the Campbell's attack, and again played flawlessly in the outfield with a running grab of a warning track shot by Patriot slugger Danny Crossen.

Patriot came storming back from the early lead Campbell's built, and scored 5 runs in the 4th to bring the win within striking distance. Campbell's added some needed insurance in the 5th on a key hit by early season mvp favorite Jake Fisher. Patriot wouldn't go quietly, as Ethan Emery made sure, carrying the Patriot offense with 3 hits.

Patriot continued to fight in the bottom of the sixth, bringing the tying run to second against Campbell's reliable reliever Andrew Sposato. Sposato battled as the tying run stared him down from second, and retired the last 2 batters to notch his 1st save of the Season. Sposato was sensational late in the contest, as his 3 pitch arsenal kept Patriot hitters off balance.
