ML Game 4

Campbell's Boathouse Restaurant   8
Baker Printing   3

In an early season battle of unbeatens, Cambells' Boathouse beat Baker Printing 8-3. Campbell's was lead by pitcher Bryan Pazulski, who went 5 1/3 with just 65 pitches to notch his first 'W' of the season. It didn't start easy for Paz, as Baker slugger Zack Summy went yard in the 1st for his season's first HR, and sent the Baker squad out with an early 1-0 lead. Campbell's came roaring back in the bottom of the 1st and scored 4 runs on 3 hits. Paz settled in and went to work in the 2nd, retiring 12 of the next 14 batters he faced through the 5th.

Baker looked poised for the comeback in the top of the 6th as Brian Virbitsky's towering shot eventually settled in the glove of center fielder Nick Corado. Baker then scored 2 runs with 1 out and the comeback was back on track. Enter Evan Fooks from the 'pen', as he was called on the get the last 2 outs of the contest with blistering strikeouts.

Campbell's offense rode once again on the shoulders of Jake Fisher, who is scorching the ball in this young season. Fish had 2 hits and added 3 runs to his Major League leading total of 6 runs scored. Campbell's now will sit idle through opening weekend, and prepare themselves for a Monday contest against Patriot Construction.
