ML Playoff Game 9

Campbells Boathouse Restaurant   6
Advocare CMA    3

Game Recap:

Campbells Boathouse and Advocare faced off in an elimination game on Monday evening, that saw 4 lead changes. Max Daugherty stayed on to earn his second win of the Playoffs with an 8 strikeout performance. Jared Brower kept his Advocare teammates in it, pitching 4 1/3 and striking out 5.

The contest was tight through 4, but Campbells would take the lead for good in the Home 5th. The Boathouse boys began the inning down 3-2 but went right to work. Devon Laut led off with his second extra base hit of the contest, a standup triple to the right field corner. He'd tie the contest on a passed ball, as Campbells would never look back. They tacked on 3 more runs in the inning, which was highlighted by a Bryan Pazulski 2 run single, scoring Daugherty and Andrew Sposato. Pazulski would work his way around the base path and eventually add another insurance run on a beautifully executed delayed steal of home to plate the final run in the 4 run inning. Paz would then come on in relief to nail down the save for Campbells.

Campbells now sits back and waits for the winner of Plush Mills and Hagan, to find their next victim... er, opponent!
