Moppert Brothers    8

Advocare ended the regular season on a high note by reaching base safely 27 times and scoring 18 runs in the 5 inning game. Zach Cimino had a monster day at the plate going 3 for 3 including TWO homeruns (one being a grand slam) and 6 RBIs. Ben Pinheiro also added his first ML homerun while going 2 for 3. The rest of the offense for Advocare was supplied by Dan Crossan (2 for 3), Jack Kichula (single and 2 BBs), Jared Brower (single and 2 BBs). Advocare got one hit apiece from Eric McLaughlin, Nick Corrado and Luke Bauwens. CJ Johnson got the start and pitched well for 2 innings striking out 3 while only walking one batter. Jared Brower then came in and struck out 5 batters in 2 innings of work.

Moppert was led by the usual suspects of Chris Rosini (2 for 4) and Dan Maguire (2 for 3). Jimmy Bauwens smashed a long blast to centerfield in the second inning for a 3 run HR. John Hasson had a good day at the dish going 2 for 2 with a walk. Dan Breslin sparked a 3 run rally in the 4th inning when he led off the inning with a double down the leftfield line and later scoring.
