The Angels defeated the Tigers 9-4 at Continental Field before a packed field of family and friends tonight.

The Tigers scored four runs off nine hits, led by Brendan Hefferan (2 for 3, 1 RBI), Declan Hefferan (2 for 2, 1R), Sean O'Shea (2 for 2, 1R), Nate Hall (1 for 2, 1R) and Chase Nangle (1 for 2, 1 RBI, 1 R). The Tigers cornered the Third inning, blasting away with four runs and five hits. Defensively, the Tigers made nine impressive defensive outs in the game, including perfect ground out plays performed by Nate Hall, Sean O'Shea, Jaden Jauregui and Chase Nangle in the first inning. The most exciting play of the night came in the top of the Fifth inning courtesy of Pitcher Nate Hall, who caught a line drive shot from the Angels' Michael Byrd with the bases loaded and two outs to save his team in a clutch situation.

The Angels scored nine runs off nineteen hits, led by sluggers Alex Pak (3 for 3, 1 2B, 3R), Kadin Matotek (3 for 3, 2 2B, 3 RBI 3 R), Michael Costello (2 for 3, 1 2B, 4 RBI, 1 R), Dylan Colvin (3 for 3), Sam Pietrzak (3 for 3, 1 RBI) and Isabella Mingioni (1 for 2, 1 R). Defensively, the Angels made eleven defensive outs, including an astonishing four pop outs (2 by Michael Costello (1 @ 1B, 1 @ 3B), 1 each for Jake Maillie (playing Pitcher) and Alex Pak (playing Pitcher). In the second, Dylan Colvin and Kadin Matotek connected twice from Pitcher to First Base for two crucial outs.

A fun game overall as the teams reach the end of the season and prepare for postseason play.
