The Mariners defeated the Angels 6-1 in six innings on Saturday as David Scanlan went 3-3 at the plate.
Kadin had two extra-base hits for the Angels. Kadin doubled in the first inning and tripled in the fifth inning.
The Mariners never surrendered the lead after the second inning, scoring three runs on an RBI double by Robert Furlan and two singles.
The Mariners added two
more runs in the top of the fifth. The inning looked promising, as Furlan
singled, scoring Dylan Mitchell to kick things off. That was followed up by
James Tegethoff's single, bringing home Scanlan.
The fifth inning saw
the Angels score their only run on the day on an RBI single by Luke.
