The Cubs and Braves met again Thursday night with both teams showing off their defensive skills. The Braves had ten put outs in the field and the Cubs had seven. The first three innings showed both squads scoring, and by the 4th frame the score was Cubs 10 to the Braves 5. The Braves made a late run, scoring 3 runs in the 5th and retiring the Cubs in order in the bottom of the inning. But Will Lochetto retired the Braves in order to end the game.

The Cubs offense was paced by Eric Faillace who tripled twice, Angelo Lochetto who hit a home run and Griffin Colvin, who knocked in two runs. The Braves offense was led by Owen McGovern who scored twice and Richie Sposato who drove in two and scored twice. Jack Kichula and Owen combined to retire the Cubs in order in the 4th & 5th innings to keep the Braves in the game.
