The Braves defeated the Marlins 9-3 on Saturday with a balanced hitting attack and outstanding plays in the field. Jack Kichula turned in some solid plays at Shortstop on the late innings to help hold off a Marlins charge. On offense Owen McGovern had huge 5th inning double while going 2 for three. Giuliano Cinacaglini, Rory Allen, Jack Kichula, DJ White, Richie Sposato and Jenna Vociak all scored for the Braves. Jarrett Kline in his pitching debut fanned 4 Marlins and gave up only one hit on 43 pitches.

For the Marlins Sam Freedman slammed a second inning double while Michael Lasberry went two for three with a single, double and run scored. Andrew Panzo shut down the Braves hitters in the middle innings with some solid pitching.
