On a beautiful Friday evening a remarkable game was played between BBK and HRE.  Remarkable because the entire 6 inning game was finished in 1 hour and 8 minutes!  That must be a Little League record.  The reason the game was played so quickly was excellent pitching by starter Danny Healey of BBK and starter Chase Luffey of HRE.  Both pitchers were incredible, as they set down batter after batter and displayed precision control.  In the end, it was Healey’s shut down change up and the heroics of BBK's Jack Keffer, who hit two clutch triples (one missed clearing the fence by a couple of feet) that won the game.  Kudos also go to Colin Roddy of BBK, who discovered his stroke and smoked a liner.  Gary Gross was the excellent umpire who benefited from the short night.
