The Braves (Prudential , Fox, & Roach) defeated the Cubs (HAP) 9-8 in a dramatic 6th inning comeback. With the bases loaded, James Hare knocked in Chris Skahill with a huge game winning double. Corey Hansen started the inning with a double and Stephen Furman knocked in 2 with a triple, his second hit of the game. Chris Skahill came through with a single and 2 RBI's . Anthony Martinelli had 2 hits and an RBI. Jason Mclarney , Joey Giannini, and Brian Dougherty played excellent defense for the Braves. The Braves pitching was led by Furman, (3 innings, 38 pithces) McLarney (1 inning 31 pitches), and Martinelli (2 innings, 39 pitches) A hard fought game by both teams. The Cubs received excellent pitching from Chase Luffey and Steve McAlee.
