They went 23 for 28 in the game. After the D' Rays jumped out to a 3-0 lead, Herbie started the scoring off for the Mets with a two run home run in the first. The inning ended with teams tied at 3 each.
The Mets held the Devil Rays scoreless in the second, and tacked on two runs in the bottom of the inning. The Devil Rays answered back with five runs in the third, sparked by DJ's grand slam home run, to take an 8-5 lead. The Mets came back with 5 runs of their own in the bottom of the third, as the lead changed hands once again.
In the top of the fourth the Devil Rays struck again, scoring two runs to knot the score at 10-10. But two solid plays at third by Max kept the D' Rays in check. Rich led off the Mets' 4th inning with a solid triple. Robbie came up and singled in the winning run. Both teams played an excellent game, with solid hitting and fielding on both sides.
