AL Game 15

Children's Medical    10

Patriot Construction    1

The Children's Medical Associates team won their first game of the season putting together great pitching, solid defense, and timely hitting. They were led by Timmy Quinn who pitched 3 strong innings with 5 K's giving up only 2 hits. Dominic Nunag closed out the game pitching 3 innings with 6 K's giving up only 1 hit. The "Dominator" also contributed offensively with the bat- going 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and a triple. For Patriot Construction, Dan Grandieri pitched 3 strong innings holding the CMA offense to 2 runs over the first 3 innings to keep the game close. Dan, an excellent base runner, tried to steal home in the 1st inning but got caught in a run down. In the 4th inning, John Flynn stole 3 bases including home on a close play to break up the shut-out.
