Caramanico pitched its way to victory last night. Bryan Leonard pitched the first 2 innings giving up only 2 runs, while striking out 6. Alex Mclaughlin pitched the next 2, striking out 5 while only giving up one run. Ethan Heller pitched the last inning (the game was stopped after 5 innings because of darkness). Ethan struck out all 3 batters he faced. For the first 3 innings, the score was close or tied, thanks to great pitching from Matt Mcgraw and Tom Boccia.
Caramanico broke it open in the fourth and fifth innings, thanks to Ethan Heller (2 hits, including a double and 2 walks), Charles Slackway (double), Jake Hatfield, Matt Rectenwald, Kevin Murphy and James Kantnor (2 hits, including a double). Alex McLaughlin walked all 4 times he came to the plate.
Spectrum's runs were scored thanks to timely hitting from Matt McGraw, Tom Boccia and Sean Doyle.
