This closely matched game was an exciting one.
The Twins punched out two runs early in the first inning with clutch hits by Ben Burman and Jack Ribble. The A’s fought back hard in the bottom of the first by scoring three runs with key hits by Sean Myers, Ashton Raines and Calvin Samson. The second inning had the Twins break the game open in the by scoring six runs on six hits. Ben Aman hit a double to right to start the rally and Andrew Desilva had one of his three hits to keep the rally going.
Kevin Mohollen pitch three strong innings for the Twin’s striking out five.
The A’s Ashton Raines pitched three impressive innings striking out seven.
