NL Game 29

Patriot Twins    14

Spectrum Orioles    11

The Orioles came out ready to play in the first inning pounding out 6 runs on 8 hits with key hits by Thomas Baachia, Matt McGraw, Alex Roberts, and Sean Doyle. The outlook did not look goodIt started as though the Twins were in for a long day. The Twins rebounded from the first inning pounding to score 6 runs on 8 hits and tie the game. Key hits by Chase Luffey, Jack Ribble, Ben Burman and Ben Amen capped the exciting first inning.  The Orioles bats could not keep that intensity into the second inning and fell behind 12-6. The Twins kept the pressure on the Orioles and where able to hold off a late inning rally and close the game out.  The Orioles had great play in the field by Thomas Baachia and Matt McGraw who threw out a twin as he stole second. The Twins top performers were Chase Luffey who pitched a scoreless 4th and Kevin Mohollen who went 3-3 with two triples.

Kudos to both teams coaches for pitching in for the umpiring duties for the game.
