The Rockies finally broke out of their funk offensively with a 16 hit attack, scoring 12 runs in the first three innings.  The Rocks offense was lead by Brian Koskinen, Jack Daly, Bobby Rennie, Andrew Wilson, James Hare, Matt McNichol and Chris Smith who all had multiple hits in the contest.  


Colin McGuire and Brian Koskinen were able to hold the powerful Yankees offense in check in the 4th and 5th innings, aided by an unassisted double play by Jack Daly in the 5th inning.  Steve McAlee, Ellis Driscoll and Seth Luck also contributed to the Rockies winning effort with their heady play.


The Yankees battled throughout the game, scoring runs in the 2nd, 4th and 5th innings.
