In a rain shortened game between the Yankees and the Marlins, the Yankees came out on top after four completed innings with a score of 6 - 2.

The visiting Yankees got on the board in the top of the 1st with an RBI single by Nick Ladde scoring Damon Branch who singled earlier in the inning.

The Yankees added another run in the second after three straight hits by Zachary Kracht, Tyler Talarico-Yunker and Robert Hartman.

The Yankees added two more runs in the third as Damon led off the inning with a triple and scored on J.T. Harrar's single. J.T. later scored on a single by James Morris.

Timmy Quinn came in to pitch a solid 4th inning for the Marlins getting 1 strikeout and making a good play on a ground ball up the middle for another out.

The Marlins were attempting a comeback in the bottom of the fourth with William Manganiello and Michael Solomon scoring their first two runs. Zachary pitched the fourth inning for the Yanks, and after a slow start to the inning, he got consecutive strikeouts to end the inning with the bases loaded.

The rain came in the top of the 5th and the game was called with the final score 6 -2.
