NL Game 13

Caramanico    10

Spectrum Roofing    1

Caramanico started their hitting spree in the first inning plating 6 thanks to the strong hitting of Alex Mulhearn (two hits in the first inning), Alex McLaughlin, Bryan Leonard, Timmy Buckley, Joseph Buckley and Brian Dougherty.  In the bottom of the first Spectrum Roofing got one back on hits by Matt McGraw, Alex Roberts and Sean Doyle.  The only thing that prevented Caramanico from scoring in the second was the stellar defense of Matt McGraw who made 2 great catches from short stop including one down the line in left field.

Caramanico got back on the scoreboard in the fourth and fifth innings, scoring 2 in both innings.  In the fourth,  the runs were aided by hits from Ethan Heller and Alex McLaughlin.  In the fifth, Alex Mulhearn walked and Ethan hit the both home with a liner to left center.   When the dust settled, Ethan and Alex had circled the bases.

Timmy Buckley, making his pitching debut in the national league, pitched a strong fourth inning, retiring the side with no runs and ending with a strikeout.  Alex McLaughlin finished the game pitching 2 strong innings, not giving up any runs and striking out 5.
