Petersonís bats were swinging away once again. Lead off hitter Cole Gamber went 4 for 4 and crossed home twice. Jimmy Allen went 3 for 4 with a 2 RBI single in the first, an RBI double in the 4th inning and scored 3 runs with his terrific base running. Thomas Weathers, Johnny Allen and Andrew McElwain also had key hits to help build a lead in the late innings. Peterson pitched Gamber, McElwain and Weathers. Strong defense by the outfielders Nick Quaintas and the Allen brothers kept the Hagan team in check on the bases.
Hagans consistently hit and scored in 5 of the 6 innings with Kevin Melone 4 for 4, Julian Heller 2 for 4 and Chris Maharaj 2 for 3. Hunter Tierney, Charis Maharaj and Kyle Maylish pitched for Hagans.
