ML Game 28
Hunter Tierney pitched three innings of no-hit ball and Kevin Melone closed out the game in the fourth inning as Hagans continued its winning ways. Offensively, Hagans was led by Julian Heller ( 2 hits ), Kevin Melone ( 3 hits ), Hunter Tierney, and Jack Prior ( each with hits ). Hagans was helped by several great defensive plays including 2 plays by Hunter Tierney on the mound on hard ground balls, a diving catch by Kevin Melone on a blistering line drive by Ryan Myers, and a leaping catch at first base by Scott Patton of a line drive.
Colin Barker pitched well for Campbells going all four innings. Ryan Myers hit the ball hard several times but was robbed by great defensive plays by Hagans.
