Moppert Struck quickly with 4 hit, 4 run 1st inning.  Carman responded with a 1st inning run of their own on back-to-back hits by Conner Gallen and Nick Lowendowski.  Moppert extended it's lead with runs in the 3rd and 4th innings, however, just when Moppert seemed to be pulling away Carman struck back with 4 runs in their half of the 4th inning to close the gap to 7-5.  Moppert added a couple more in the 6th inning and Brian Vendetta settled down to close this one out for Moppert.


Mopperts offense was lead by Conner McCarren, Adam Junkin and Taylor Longacre all with 3 hits and Brian Bosco adding 2 hits.  Moppert received solid pitching from Adam Junkin and Brian Vendetta each going 3 innings.
