ML Game 15
In an early season battle for first place Moppert and Hagans did not disappoint. A classic pitchersí duel took place with Brian Bosco, Brian Vendetta, and Adam Junken matching up against Chris Maharaj and Kevin Melone.
Moppert took an early 2-0 lead due, in part, to a key hit by Brian Bosco. Brian Bosco held onto the lead by pitching 3 perfect innings. Haganís struck for three runs in the fourth on consecutive hits by Julian Heller, Kevin Melone, and Beau DiFiore. Hagans then added two runs in the fifth on hits by Chris Maharaj and Kevin Melone and key R.B.I.s by Scott Patten and Matt Leonard. Adam Junkin smashed a hard single for Moppert and he and Brian Vendetta pitched very well for Moppert. Hagansí pitching held Moppert scoreless for the last five innings to close out a 5-2 victory.
