ML Game 12

Hagans    3

Carman    2

Under gloomy skies Hagans held on to beat Carman 3-2 in a very well played game. Carman jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first inning but Hagans quickly took the lead 2-1 in the bottom of the first. Pitching and defense took over from there. Chris Maharaj and Kevin Melone each pitched three strong innings. Will Currier made what perhaps may be the play of the year with an over-the-shoulder running catch in right field of a blistering line drive hit by Greg Snow. Matt Leonard played a strong first base.

Carman was led by the strong pitching of Conner Gallen ( 4 innings ), Sean Mohollen, and Kyle Gillen. Kyle Gillen played a great shortstop for Carman. Julian Heller, Kyle Maylish, and Kevin Melone had hits for Hagans while Conner Gallen ( 2 hits ) and Greg Snow ( double ) led the Carman attack.
