Kish 18 - ECT 4 Fresh off of a suspended game called on account of darkness the night before, Kish Funeral Home marched straight from the Opening Day Ceremonies to their first victory. The star of the game was Kish pitcher Alex Abramowitz, who pitched four strong innings, with 9 strikeouts. Alex also went 3 for 4 at the plate, with a double, two triples, four runs and 7 RBI's. He also had a couple of nice defensive plays. Sean O'Kane led ECT with two singles, one run and two RBI's. ECT's pitching struggled in the first two innings, giving up six runs in the first and eight runs in the second, but settled down in the final two frames. For Kish, Beau DiFiore had a pair of singles and scored twice and John McGovern reached base four times with two walks, two singles, and two RBI's. ECT tried to mount a comeback in the fourth. Jacob Day and Bobby VanLeer led off with back to back singles and scored on Sean O'Kane's single, but Alex Abramowitz was able to reach back for little extra to stop the rally and secure the victory.
