The reason for the splash page is that most, in fact all search engines that I have registered with have not indexed my page. I was told that one of the things that could cause this was having a page with frames on it. Since my page does have frames i decided to put a splash page without frames up to see if it could be indexed and thereby solve my problem. Well now you know.
