Ray Boltz

What do I like about him? He is a very inspiring song writer. Ray Boltz was one of the first Contemporary Christian artists I liked. He often writes songs from the point of view of someone who was there at the cross, or at certain points in history. I have learned to love most of his songs, and have even adopted his hands-on style of song writing. I am not in favor of all of his songs, but he still deserves a spot here on the platinum list.

What albums does he have? Seasons Change, Moments for the Heart (1&2), The Altar, Thank You, Watch the Lamb, Another Child To Hold, The Classics, Concert of a Lifetime, Concert of a Lifetime for Kids, Songs from the Potter's Field, A Christmas Album, and Honor and Glory.

In which order do I like them? Beings that I haven't even heard the half of them, I can't correctly answer this question. Moments for the Heart 1&2 is my favorite. I also like The Classics. Even though I haven't heard the Potter's Field one yet, it looks good.

What are my top three favorite songs? Third: 'Here Comes a Miracle'. Second: 'The Nails'. First: 'There Stood a Lamb'.

What else do I like about him? He takes the time to explain his songs on the CD cases. This is another thing that he has done that has inspired me to do the same thing with my music. I especially liked the note he wrote about the song called 'The Hammer'. Very good!
