The Scoop: Indeed life is short. It is just a passing vapor that only lingers for a little while. We have to decide now in this life, that we are going to remain committed to the Lord through everything, we're giving up the pleasures of this life, and we're going to follow Him to the end.

The Tale: Heaven's Gates tells a progressing story about life and its hardships, our past mistakes, our Father's love, our eternal home, and life with our Lord forever. Set to moving music, Heaven's Gates might captivate your heart and dig deep into your soul.

The Idea: I like to think about life. We are here for such a short time. We are being influenced by one of two powers with each decision we make. Our choices here will lead us to either a perfect place, or turmoil beyond our deepest understanding. I wrote Heaven's Gates with no particular point in mind. I just want people to think about the whole picture. When we step back and look at life from the outside, it seems so much easier to trust in God. I hope you hear this song and think about it all. Life is far too short and meaningful to waste it on temporary pleasures. We've got to give it up, for our destiny awaits.
