It has been a busy, but speedy, senior year! As I write, I am less than a week away from my college graduation on May 18th, at 10 am, on Hartman Green. I can't believe its been 4 years here already. But it is truly exciting--I can't wait to embark on my new life in...
BOSTON! That's right! My long-term love, Keith, and I are re-locating this summer to Massachusetts after he was accepted to Boston University with a full ride and an additional stipend towards a Masters in Theological Studies. Keith is planning to pursue his studies through the PhD level and become a college professor specializing in Early Christianity and Early Judaism. Keith is graduating from F&M with a pretty impressive GPA and the Dept. of Religion's senior award.
I am currently looking for work in college administration, and plan to return to graduate work after a few years work experience. So far I have a lot of leads, and with a little luck, will land a job I can enjoy.
Other big news on the horizon will be coming soon, I promise you! *wink*
For those of you happening to stop in, please get in touch with me! I'd love to hear how you're all doing!
Alyssa
This is Alyssa's husband (Keith Gibbs), wanting everyone who finds this odd (and old) corner of the web to know that we have a new place (and have had for a while) on the web:
Alyssa and Keith.com
Check out all new stuff (and Alyssa's blog) at this new location.
Aside from being married and living happly ever after in Boston, we have our own web development business, Alembic Laboratories. It's kind of funny to look at all this old HTML Alyssa wrote by hand, but definitely forgivable.
