Tihon Nikolaievitch Kulikovsky was born in the Crimea in 1917 as the last Russian born member of the Romanov family. His grandfather was Tsar Alexander III and his grandmother the Empress Marie Feodorovna, a former Princess of Denmark, which is where Tihon grew up. He was also the nephew of the last Tsar, Nicholas II.
In this personal account, Hans Neerbak, paints the picture of a complex and colourful personality, a man whose life from the very start was tied to the fate of the Romanov dynasty.
