WOOD FRAME CUTTING AND JOINING

WORKSHOP OVERVIEW

This 1-day workshop picks up where ready-made wood framing as covered in introductory classes leave off. Learn to cut to length, miter, join and assemble a wood frame, and then "fit" your artwork into that frame. All you need is some familiarity and comfort with basic hand tools and we'll take off from there. A hands-on workshop.

COMMENTS FROM SOME SATISFIED STUDENTS

"Just a quick note to thank you for the GREAT class last weekend.  Your enthusiasm and knowledge made the class a success." ...Tom F., Alexandria, VA

"I thoroughly enjoyed your framing class.  You made the class both informative and fun for us.  I now have a framing room in one of our former bedrooms, have framed four 11x14s for my office, four different size pictures for our home (including buying chops, joining the frames, double matting all the pictures, and mounting and sealing them as you taught us.  So, in a nutshell, you ‘done good’ – and have created a framing monster." ...Ron O., Chantilly, VA

"It was mind-boggling to realize how much I learned in just a couple of days, and I expect to enjoy applying what I learned over the years to come." ...Ralph H., Arlington, VA

"One of the best classes I've ever taken.  So much was covered and so well!" ...Farida T., Pittsburgh, PA

"I like the way you lay out first what you will do, then do it, then give everyone individual help in doing it." ...Emily, Alexandria, VA

"I learned how to do the work myself, and am very happy with this!" ...Natalie M., Washington, DC
