I've been told that the problem of sin and evil only makes sense when viewed through the lens of faith. I agree, since sin only exists only in a context of faithfulness to a god. However, I do not agree that citing the problem of sin and evil proves anything.

The "sin and evil" argument only makes sense in a faith context, which I reject and see no reason to accept. Another way of saying the above is that the problem of sin and evil does not prove there is a god but presupposes there is a god.
