Light Wings ~ Molded Depron Foam Foam molded with airfoil and polyhedral and Horner type tips, with a 4"chord and 18" wingspan approximately 70 square inches of wing area. The potential applications, which have been proven by Takeoff 2000 are: Rubber band, Jet-x, Electric, Hand launched, Catapult launched, CO2, Gas. The size of the wing is your choice, cut it as small as you want or put two wings together and double the wing span. Cut off the tips. Use an already existing shape or try something new, be as creative as you can. Takeoff 2000 Inc. considers this wing has great potential for school and hobby projects. Free flight Corsair using foam wing, 6 gram, N-20 motor, U-80 propeller and 2 of 3 100 mah NiMH cells. Big Foam Wing The Big Foam Wing is 32 inch span and has two dihedral breaks. This wing has many uses including park flyers and bigger indoor models. How about a DC-3, this shape is ideal for a twin motor application (see applications above).

Fuddy Duddy Has a 16" wing span and is primarily made from foam. It comes ATF or in Foam Kit form with an 8 gram Motor Pack, which includes wire. motor. 2 batteries, switch, plug and charger. The Foam Kit has 1 folded fuselage piece, a stabilizer, wing and wing mount and rubber bands with which to secure the wing in position. A carbon rod with 2 aluminum pieces of tubing, the shorter to secure the boom onto the stabilizer and the other to adjust the flight of the plane, this feature is called "Instajust".
The 8 gram Motor Pack has a motor. 2 nimh 1/3AAA rechargeable batteries. 1 switch, 1 female charger receptacle, 1 U-80 propeller, 12" piece copper wire and a charger (it requires 4 "C" batteries which are not included).
Thistle Originally designed by Jim Duckworth and with his permission, modified by Takeoff 2000. It has a 16" wing span and is primarily made from foam. It comes in Foam Kit form with an 8 gram Motor Pack.
The Foam Kit has 2 fuselage pieces, a stabilizer and 2 rudders, a wing and wing mount and two wooden booms and two pieces of aluminum which are glued to the wing and provide housing for the booms and flight adjustment. ("Instajust") The 8 gram Motor Pack is the same as for the Fuddy-Duddy, see above.
