Crazy Suzan is made up of Jeanine Scarpato (vocals and acoustic guitar), Karen "Tig" Green (vocals and bass guitar) and Cherie Steiss (vocals and keyboards). Jeanine and Tig have known each other, musically, for more than 16 years. They have played together in many of the same cover bands in Central Pennsylvania. Cherie joined the band a year ago, and adds a fresh, exciting new sound to Crazy Suzan.
Crazy Suzan plays a variety of classical, current and original rock music. The music found on their CD, "Marbles Optional", is all original music, and is performed at all their gigs. About 25% of the music performed at gigs is their own, and includes new songs being perfected for future CD's.
In addition to the original, rockin' acoustic act, the band turns up the heat with an electrified, full-tilt rock and roll band when the Straight Jackets perform with them. The Straight Jackets include John Scarpato (electric guitar), Michael Anthony Smith (drums), Keith Stitely (percussion) and Dave "Gomez" Adams (percussion).
Crazy Suzan has found much success in the York, Harrisburg and Lancaster, PA area, but also enjoys traveling. They have demonstrated enormous talent and love of music, and find a following no matter where they play. The girls have a tight and unmeasurable sound, and their passion for music emminates at each performance.
