This intercooler installation was done entirely in our garage. The stock coolers were cut apart, then TIG welded together by my father. We then fabricated the new end tanks and my brother Joe MIG welded the whole assembly together. To get it to fit in the front end, some cutting of the rad support was required. It fits between the grille and the radiator with no problems. The rad we are using is a TII Daytona unit. As for performance gains? I can't give actual ET's yet. I had to add so much fuel pressure to get the mixture safe that the +20% injectors would lock up. That should mean I was making alot more power. I have +40%'s on there now, but its waiting for a new cyl head. To seel the other mods to my engine, including the intake manifold, go back to my main page and follow the links!
