ROOSEVELT MOTEL
When Theodore Roosevelt spoke in Springfield for the election of 1908, he stayed at the Osborne family's bungalow right here in Chapelsnap. Three generations later, that bungalow is now part of the Roosevelt motel, run by the last surviving Osborne, Chapelsnaper Garrison Osborne (not to be confused with the Chapelsnap Mayor, also named Garrison.)
