'There is a heavy storm moving into the Orlando Florida area and it will be bringing with it lots of lightning and rain so we suggest you all take cover'

Tyk sat up and looked at the door as it burst open and in ran Brian and Leighanne

'Come on little guy' said Brian 'We have to hide in the basement'

Tyk was swept up and carried down 2 flights of stairs into the dark dark basement which he hated. Brian turned on the light and the radio in the corner while Leighanne shut and bolted the door behind them. Tyk ran and hid in the corner on his cushion. After a while he began to notice a breeze blowing past him. He picked his head up and looked around for where it was coming from. He sniffed along the walls looking for the breezes' origin

'I think Tyk needs the bathroom' said Brian 'Ill be right back'

Brian grabbed Tyks leash and fastened it to him and opened the basement door and walked outside into the backyard. It was raining but there was no big storm. Tyk sniffed around and found a tree to pee on. Brian looked around the yard and at the sky

'Yeah right a reeeeeeal storm' he muttered under his breath

Suddenly from nowhere there came a flash of lightning. Brian jumped backwards and let go of Tyks leash. Once he recovered from the shock he looked down at Tyk and saw that he was glowing bright blue!

'Oh noooooo!' yelled Brian running towards Tyk 'My poor baby!'

But he bounced of some kind of force field and was flung back

He sat up and looked at Tyk

'Awfully sorry old chap' came a voice

Brian looked around but couldn't see anyone anywhere, he looked back at Tyk

'What did you say?' he said looking at his dog curiously

'I said awfully sorry old chap... I must say that's the first time you have ever responded to something I have said though' said Tyk

Brians mouth dropped open 'You.... you..... your.... you.... talked' said Brian

'Well No duuuuh sir!!! You are acting awefully strange' replied Tyk

'But you... never talked before' said Brian still in shock

'Oh I dont think it was a case of me not talking sir' said Tyk 'I think it was more of a case of you not listening' Brian thought about that for a while. 'Hmmm' he said 'Wait a second... shouldnt you have a mexican accent?'

Tyk sighed 'Oooooh the humanity!' he said 'Just because I am a Chihuahua I must have a Mexican Accent... I come from a long line of well bred Chihuahua's sir... we all talk like this... its only the Taco Bell dog that puts on that phony accent and if you ask me its all VERY embarrassing'

'I gotta show this to Leighanne' said Brian walking slowly towards Tyk and picking him up... this time with no trouble at all

'Yes and grab something to eat on the way down too' said Tyk 'Im starving... I need a pig ear to nibble on'

Brian grabbed some snacks and headed back down to the basement.

'Leighanne your not going to believe this' said Brian placing Tyk on the couch next to her 'Tyk can talk'

Leighanne laughed 'Oh he can can he?' she asked

'I certainly can' said Tyk 'Why must humans assume that just because we are animals we do not have some for of communication capabilities'

Leighannes jaw dropped as she watched the small dog next to her talk.

'He... he.... you.... talked' said Leighanne, her eyes wide open

'Yes I did' said Tyk 'And whats more I can do this too'

Suddenly Tyk rose off the chair and started flying around the room.

Brian and Leighanne shrieked in disbelief as they watched him zoom around their heads.

'I can do much more then that' said Tyk 'But im tired and I need my rest so if you dont mind'

Tyk landed and walked over to the corner once more and curled up to go to sleep

Brian and Leighanne looked at each other in amazment

'What just happened here' said Brian

'I dont know' said Leighanne 'But it was something truely amazing'

'Its like he is a SUPER HERO or something' said Brian

'Your right' said Leighanne running over to a sewing box in the corner 'I think since we are stuck down here Ill make him a little outfit with a cape... so he can truly be a super hero'

Brian laughed and helped her create an outfit for Tyk!! By the time the storm was over they had a blue and white (Kentucky Colors) outfit, with a blue cape and a HUGE letter T on the front. Tyk's outfit was complete.....

Tyk was sat by his favorite window gazing out and scratching his ears. Suddenly something outside the window caught his eye

'Oh MY' said Tyk 'Its my very favorite Backstreet Boy Nick'

He jumped off of the couch on which he was previously perched and ran excitedly to the front door, accidently busted through the front door in all the excitement with his super doggie strength.

'Ooops' said Tyk glancing back before jumping as carefully as he could into Nicks arms

'Hey there little guy' said Nick catching Tyk 'I dont think Brians gonna be too pleased about that door'

Brian walked past the door and took a second glance

'OH NO!' he said 'Tyk thats the 3rd door you've busted buddy Im gonna be broke if you dont stop this'

Tyk's ears dropped and he looked down ashamedly

'Im sorry' he said 'I dont know my own strength some times'

Brians anger was whisked away by the ultimate cuteness of the situation and he smiled

'Thats ok little buddy' said Brian then he looked up at Nick 'Whats up?'

'You'll never guess what happened' said Nick 'Someone stole my Nintendo'

'What? When did this happen?' asked Brian as they all walking into the house

'Last night, I woke up and there it was... gone' said Nick 'I cant believe it'

Brian sighed 'Must have been the same guys that have been stealing Nintendos all over Florida' he said

Nick sat down 'I dont know what to do... I guess Ill have to buy another one'

Tyk, sat on the floor, tipped his head to one side 'Hmmmmm' he said

'What are you thinking little buddy?' asked Brian

'Maybe if I can get a whiff of that Nintendo' explained Tyk 'I can maybe follow the scent and find it and all the other stolen Nintendos'

'Go get your outfit' said Brian

Tyk toddled out of the room and retured seconds later as SUPER 'LIL TYK with his chest stuck out and a grin on his face!

'Lets go' he said taking off out of the door and flying all the way to Nicks house and stood patiently outside waiting for Brian and Nick to arrive.

The car pulled up and Nick went to open the door to let him in

Tyk wondered round the room where Nick kept his Nintendo, carefully sniffing the air.

'OK' he said 'This is. I believe, where you keep the Nintendo?'

'Yes' said Nick 'that’s right where it was when I left it last night'

Tyk sniffed a little more 'OK I have it' he said and then he started sniffing the floor. He sniffed all the way out the front door to the pavement outside where he stopped

'They loaded it into the automobile here' said Tyk sniffing around 'Ill have to go the rest of the way by air'

Tyk took off to follow the scent of the Nintendo, following many streets and going many miles before finally the scent stopped. Tyk hovered over a wherehouse for a while and observed some big men moving boxes to and from a truck which was parked outside.

'This must be the place' said Tyk swooping lower. He used his X-Ray Doggie Vision to peer into the building where he saw hundreds of Nintendos stacked up on top of each other. As soon as he was sure what he had seen he made a note of the address and flew all the way back to Nicks house where he landed in the front yard

'So what did you find?' asked Nick anxiously

Tyk told Nick and Brian what he had seen. Immediatly they notified the police and Tyk flew back to the wherehouse to keep an eye on things until they got there. He heard the sirens in the distance and he saw the men loading the nintendos into the back of the van quickly. He had to do something to stop them. So he swooped down on them and cocked one leg.... and peed his special super Lil Tyk pee all over them. It knocked them all out immediatly. The police arrived and arrested all the men immediatly and all the Nintendos we slowly returned to their owners

'Thankyou Super 'Lil Tyk' said the Police Chief 'What WOULD we do without you'

'Just doing my job' said Tyk jumping into his duffel bag on Brians back... he was too tired to walk back home
