Travis Asel, 31, drives the #09 Asel Motorsports Super Late Model. This year the car's color scheme is blue and white with orange highlights. Primarily racing at dirt tracks in western Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio, Asel is a veteran driver with thirteen years of experience. His driving career began in the Hobby Stock Class at the McKean County Fair Raceway in Smethport, Pennsylvania, where he won the “Most Popular Driver” award during his rookie season. He advanced to Street Stock during his second season where he earned “Rookie of the Year.” During the following season, he advanced to Limited Late Model and won “Rookie of the Year” honors for a second time. Then he advanced to his current division, Super Late Model and claimed "Rookie of the Year" for the third time in a row. In 1994, Travis then won the "Most Popular Driver" in the Super Late Model division at the McKean County Fair Raceway. Travis captured second place in the Late Model Points at McKean County Raceway in 2001.
